JIM ROBERTS entertains
on piano, digital keyboards, sings vocals, is a master of ceremonies,
an announcer, an auctioneer, performs as live television talent,
records radio voice-overs, creates custom music productions,
and has a personal recording studio.
Professional History
Jim began performing at the age of fourteen, recorded and appeared
on radio and television with the Bel-Aires and the
Challengers surf bands. Stage shows and television
appearances included billing with The Righteous Brothers,
The Beach Boys, The Lettermen, and many others
Las Vegas appearances included the Guys and Dolls Show
at the Thunderbird Hotel. Television credits include Charlie’s
Angles, Empire, Wink Martindale’s Dance Party, the
Lloyd Thaxton Show, Surf’s Up with Stan Richards,
Hullabaloo, Bob Eubanks Live, and the Sam Riddle
Show.
Motion picture credits include Butch Cassidy and The
Sundance Kid and Take Her She’s Mine.
Throughout the 1970’s Jim appeared live as the headline
act at several Southern California restaurants and nightclubs.
He was the featured keyboard artist for the John Davidson Show
at the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel in 1978.
From the 80’s to the present, Jim specializes in individualized
private parties and performances as a single entertainer and
as a bandleader.
Jim currently entertains at the Ritz restaurant in Newport Beach.
Recent credits include: Pianist and entertainer at Big Canyon
Country Club, The Pacific Club, The Balboa Bay Club, The Four
Seasons Hotel, Pelican Hill Golf Club, The Newport Beach Marriott,
The Hyatt Newporter, The Center Club, and The Ritz Carlton among
others in Orange County. Jim has been an entertainer, master
of ceremonies and auctioneer for the Orange County Performing
Arts Center, National Charity League, the Assistance League,
Newport Harbor Area Chamber of Commerce, among other philanthropies.
He was station announcer at KESQ TV-3, the ABC television station
in Palm Springs for several years, produced and appeared in
several commercials, and was co-host of the United Cerebral
Palsy and Jerry Lewis MDA Telethons. |
